Nine.. Ten

Humans suffering from a conflict of signals aren't the best people to be holding guns, especially when they've just witnessed a natural childbirth, which definitely looked an un-American way of bringing new citizens into the world.

-- (Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman, Good Omens)

Kane had a big birthday a week ago, ten years, who'd have thought?
Ten years and a 177million SP is a long damn time, granted the last two have seen me away from the game for the most part, I still yearn to return and cause untold havoc.

It was also nine years ago I officially started solo Piracy in my solo corp with my band of merry alts.

I am currently in La Spezia Italy, around the corner from Cinque Terre, which if you don't mind the thousands of tourists is actually stunning. We set sail for ViaReggio this week and then Rome shortly after before heading to Sicily, after that I take two weeks in June to go home and celebrate my birthday before returning to the ship and heading back to France.

Plan at the moment is to return to the Antarctic at the end of this year to stop the Japanese whalers from killing whales in the Antarctic Whale Sanctuary against the rulings of the ICJ and against the moratorium on whaling.

I really miss you ladies and gentlemen.

Please sir... May I bring a DRAEK?

AIRPORTS: A place where people hurry up and wait.
-- From A Scientific Encyclopedia for the Enquiring Young Nome by Angalo de Haberdasheri
(Terry Pratchett, Wings)

Hellcats Reloaded are running a HipsterVet roam on the 2nd day of April in the year 2016.

The theme is "FC, can I bring a Drake?"
Who: Anyone who can fly a DRAEK
Start and Route: Vitrauze XI-2 (Federal Navy Academy) and lowsec, respectively.
When: Saturday, April 2 @ 8 PM EST (Sunday the 3rd at 01:00 EVE). Form-up will begin at 7:30 PM EST/4:30 PM PST.
Organizer: Dian Lung
FCs: Dian Lung

Flying things that aren't considered viable is on of my favourite past times, as anyone who has brawled my Probe and exploded can vouch for, so I will try and make this, if of course I'm in port and have decent wifi to piggyback.

I had a rather embarrasing and expensive Astero loss a few nights ago when I tried and failed to Pirate a Gila running some Gurista site. Slow internet makes strategic commands and retreats rather difficult.

Council of Stellar Management 11

On the fifth day the Governor of the town called all the tribal chieftains to an audience in the market square, to hear their grievances. He didn't always do anything about them, but at least they got *heard*, and he nodded a lot, and everyone felt better about it at least until they got home. This is politics.
-- Carpet politics are very similar to Discworld politics
(Terry Pratchett, The Carpet People)

Go vote for Nashh, seriously do it.

I met Nashh many years ago, our friendship started with a 1v1 and grew from there, I've stayed at his house and met his lovely family, he's extremely organised, I mean, come on, EVE_NT is frickin huge and the dude made it happen, imagine what he could do for the game.

Above all, he's a righteous dude.
He got my vote. (It was my only vote, who are all those other people?)

Extraction

Sergeant Comely was working on the general assumption that where you got lots of people gathered together, something illegal was bound to happen sooner or later.
-- (Terry Pratchett, Johnny and the Dead)

As I'm making brunch for the board of Sea Shepherd in a chateau in the south of France where the author of The Little Prince once resided I take a look at a comment up for moderation:
I logged in to dust to night to chat with other players about this . i wont play or do anything productive till this is resolved . in eve you have safe sytems for new players and Concorde will tag you for stealing from them so players can attack you. you can flag a player so you know he or she is bad guy you can get even with them and ther friends or corp mates, nothing like that exists in dust. if i want to sell something to some one i post it in the station they fly in and buy it i get my money ... nothing like that exists in dust its a game exploit you built in the current player gifting system its not about trust its a simple hole you left.. it needs to be fixed i can see me buying the wrong thing or the 100s of other way you can lose out in eve but the way but how it is in dust is just broken if i have to pay to transfer an item (the market escrow) then you should have to give me an item for my isk its just not a trust thingits a simple hole please fix it . i worked hard for what
Not sure what this charming player was on about, it had nothing to with the post in question. I can only assume he was meant to post that somehwere else. I wonder how he feels now that we know DUST is DOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!

There are some new tools on the market, a way to extract unneeded skills and either sell the knowledge or redircet it elsewhere. First off, this is absolutely fantastic, time to get rid of the 21243 SP I have in production, resource processing and social... What?
Out of 172 million skill points that's all I can spare.

Anyways, I am desperate to get back to Pirating but our oceans are still dying and humans are still the reason, so if humans would be so kind as to stop fucking shit up I can get back to what's really important.
