A Decade of A Pirates Perspective

A day ago the future had looked aching and desolate, and now it looked full of surprises and terror and bad things happening to people... If she had anything to do with it anyway.

Ten years ago, a small solo Pirate decided to start writing about his adventures, inspired by a local legend by the name of FlashFresh who wrote a magnificent blog.

It was a daunting task but helped by my friend and ex corp mate, Soup Spoon, who checked my spelling and grammar, I was soon to become quite prolific, killing as much with my words as with my autocannons.

So here's looking back at the very forst post from Kane Rizzel.

...And the most viewed post of all time.

...Coming in a close second for all time views.

Apologies for some of the dead links but it seems this blog has outlived many of the big names in killboards over the years. 447 posts in ten years, and while not as prolific as I once was, or for that matter, able to play as much as I once did, I think I'll keep this going, I've always toyed with the idea of writing some origins stories behind the Rizzels and maybe it's time I actually did so

I've just briefly glanced over some of my earlier work, and damn, I'm actually pretty good at this writing lark, but much like my solo piracy, the blog is something of a dinosaur in the modern age.

I think while I'm at sea I'm going to start re-reading what I have written, from the beginning, and relive some of the glory days.

Ten years, damn, what a ride!
